This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter. It incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal uses a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes ANSI Class 125 flanges, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping.
The pump uses a 20 HP, 3450 RPM motor in a TEFC enclosure. It operates on 230-460V/60/3PH power with across the line starting. The WEG motor is in a 256 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This assembly meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a PEI of 0.94. The top center line discharge design simplifies piping layouts and facilitates self-venting of the casing.
