This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. It integrates a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve, utilizing a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat and EPT rubber, providing a 125 PSI rating with a wear ring. Center-line discharge allows for positive air venting, while integrally cast mounting feet support the assembly.
The 20 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operates at 1750 RPM, integrates Aegis grounding, and supports a 200-230V / 3PH power supply with a DOE PEI of 0.46. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
