This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design that allows for servicing without disturbing system piping. The top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting and reduces piping strain.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with an ODP enclosure, AEGIS shaft grounding, and a 213 JM motor frame with feet. The unit runs on 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power and uses across-the-line starting. This pump meets NEMA MG1-12.55 efficiency standards and has a PEI of 0.83.
