This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly utilizes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP WEG TEFC motor housed in a 184 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460/60/3 power input with across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler for the motor connection.
