This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump has a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump features a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump is constructed for clean water applications and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The unit operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 2 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor. This motor is an ODP T-frame style, 184 frame, and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards with AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH with across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the pump and motor, which are rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
