This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump is configured with a 5" suction and a 4" discharge, featuring ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal featuring a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This pump is suited for clean water applications with operating temperatures up to 250°F. The design utilizes a dry shaft to prevent contact with circulating fluid and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP WEG motor with an ODP enclosure. It is built to NEMA 215T frame specifications and requires a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This model is configured for across-the-line starting and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.97.
