This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft. It incorporates a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor with a TEFC enclosure. It utilizes a NEMA 145 motor frame, 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply, and is configured for across the line starting with AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. The equipment meets EISA compliance, maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.88, and has a Hydraulic Institute energy rating of 12.
