This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and is configured with a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP, 200/60/3 motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is a NEMA T-frame 256 model manufactured by WEG that meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The system features AEGIS shaft grounding and utilizes across the line starting. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
