This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 2 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a NEMA 145 T frame and operates on a 380/60/3 power supply. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler guard. This model has a PEI of 0.87 and utilizes an across-the-line starting option.
