This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It has a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection. The pump utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It uses a dry shaft design to eliminate contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal features a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top centerline discharge configuration simplifies piping layouts.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power and across-the-line starting. The motor uses a 145 JM frame style with feet and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and counter-clockwise rotation. The PEI value is 0.78.
