This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze and is fitted with a bronze wear ring. The pump casing is composed of cast iron and features pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The design utilizes a dry shaft configuration with a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The unit also includes flush seal line taps to facilitate maintenance.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is configured for 380/60/3 power. It is powered by a 100 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 405T frame. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The pump meets MG1-12.55 standards and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.93. The bearing frame utilizes permanently lubricated, sealed-for-life ball bearings.
