This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft. It incorporates a dry shaft design with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing housing uses sealed-for-life ball bearings, and the casing includes gauge ports for suction and discharge monitoring.
The system operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 182 T frame with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 200V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The unit is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the Woods coupler. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards, with a DOE PEI value of 0.88. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
