This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of stainless steel housed within a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve to facilitate maintenance and protect the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating up to 250°F. The unit features pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, a self-flushing seal design, and a dry shaft configuration.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 75 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a NEMA 365T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and features across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This configuration uses a Woods coupler and includes AEGIS shaft grounding for electrical protection. The equipment meets NEMA standard motor requirements and carries a PEI value of 0.93.
