This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The unit incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid contact with the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, flush seal line taps, and a rear pullout design to facilitate maintenance.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 25 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and AEGIS shaft grounding. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply and features a 284 JM motor frame with feet. The motor meets NEMA Premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly includes a drip cover and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. This pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.97, and the rotation is standard counter-clockwise.
