This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes a slip-on shaft sleeve to facilitate seal maintenance and flush seal line taps for particle filtration. A top center line discharge configuration assists in self-venting and reduces piping strain, while a rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 182 JM frame style with feet. It is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly has a DOE PEI of 0.83 and is designed for 40°C ambient conditions. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections.
