This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing with pressure tappings and a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter. A bronze wear ring is integrated into the design. The unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft configuration. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps are provided on the casing for maintenance access.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame with an ODP enclosure. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 PH with across the line starting. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan. Connection between the pump and the motor is facilitated by a Woods coupler, which is protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards.
