This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the system fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, and the top centerline discharge supports self-venting. Pressure tappings are present on the suction and discharge connections, and flush seal line taps allow for the installation of a filter.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP WEG motor. It is configured with a NEMA 213 JM motor frame with feet and an ODP enclosure. This unit operates on 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The electrical system includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The motor rotation is CCW, and the assembly utilizes across-the-line starting. This pump model has a PEI of 0.87.
