This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, a cast iron casing, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. This unit employs a rear pullout design and a top centerline discharge to facilitate maintenance and piping installation. A dry shaft design protects the pump shaft, while flush seal line taps allow for the installation of external filters. Pressure tappings are included on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with across the line starting. The motor features a JM frame style with feet, AEGIS shaft grounding, and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This configuration maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.89.
