It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. Standard features include bronze wear rings, flush seal line taps for potential filter installation, and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
