This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge connections. The pump uses a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the system fluid and the pump shaft. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. The unit includes ANSI Class 125 flanges and provides pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. Flush seal line taps are provided for the installation of a filter. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor. The motor features a TEFC enclosure with a drip cover and is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply. It uses a 213 JM motor frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and utilizes across-the-line starting. The pump operates within a 40 °C ambient temperature and has a PEI value of 0.94.
