This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal constructed with a Ni-Resist seat, carbon rotor, and Viton rubber, rated for temperatures up to 225 °F. The unit is designed with a rear pullout configuration to allow for servicing without disturbing the system piping. It includes top center line discharge, flush seal line taps for particle filtration, and integrated pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 40 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor that meets MG1-12.55 standards and features a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is built on a 324JM frame style with feet for mounting. This pump operates in a 40 °C ambient environment and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
