This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and viton rubber, allowing for a maximum fluid temperature of 300°F in clean water applications.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 215 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power and includes an across-the-line starting option. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. The motor meets NEMA standards, is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI of 0.88.
