This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge. The unit includes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design with an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump uses ANSI Class 125 flanges without a wear ring. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge layout facilitates self-venting. Flush seal line taps are provided for filter installation, and pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP WEG TEFC motor. The motor is configured with a 182 JM frame with feet and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. It operates on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power with across the line starting. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and features counter-clockwise rotation. This configuration has a DOE PEI value of 0.89.
