This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the system fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This pump is configured with a 3 HP, TEFC Baldor motor in a 182 JM frame style with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements and premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment with CCW rotation and utilizes an across-the-line starting option. This assembly achieves a DOE PEI of 0.83.
