This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly includes a bronze wear ring and a dry shaft design that prevents circulating fluid from contacting the shaft.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 60 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 326TS NEMA motor frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump features greasable bearings and is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The connection between the pump and motor uses a Woods flexible coupler. This pump meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and has a DOE PEI of 0.94.
