This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a replaceable, slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from system fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design permits servicing without disconnecting system piping.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 184 JM frame with feet. The motor is configured for 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. This unit is configured for across-the-line starting and features a top center line discharge design. The pump has a PEI value of 0.83.
