This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump uses a 6-1/4" nominal impeller diameter and includes a bronze wear ring. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the system fluid and the pump shaft, as well as an easy-to-replace, slip-on shaft sleeve. Flush seal line taps and pressure tappings are standard on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing the system piping.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor motor. This motor features a 145 JM frame style with feet and an ODP enclosure. The electrical configuration is rated for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency ratings and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit functions in a 40 °C ambient environment with a standard counter-clockwise rotation. This pump assembly has a DOE PEI of 0.88.
