This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter and a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This pump is rated for temperatures up to 250°F and uses a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. It also provides pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor with a TEFC enclosure and NEMA frame 324. It is configured for 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with across the line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The system is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a standard coupler guard. This unit is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI value of 0.93 and an HI energy rating of 7. It operates at 40°C ambient temperatures with standard counter-clockwise rotation.
