This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump casing is constructed of cast iron and includes a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit is configured with a mechanical seal containing a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for clean water applications at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This assembly is powered by a 50 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 326T frame, configured for 380V/60Hz/3PH power supply with a 50°C ambient rating. It operates at 1750 RPM and utilizes across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features a Woods coupler and greasable bearings. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, with a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
