This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a Ni-Resist seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This unit is configured with a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a 324T frame, operating at 1750 RPM. Power input is 230-460/60/3 PH with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The pump is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a PEI of 0.93.
