This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The unit is configured with a mechanical seal that includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F.
This assembly is driven by a 3 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured in a NEMA 182T frame. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This model has a DOE PEI of 0.86.
