This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and includes a slip-on shaft sleeve to facilitate seal maintenance. The mechanical seal is configured with a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit includes flush seal line taps and uses a rear pullout design for field servicing. The top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting and reduces piping strain.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor. The motor features an ODP enclosure, a 284 JM frame with feet, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 PH, and the unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, and the pump assembly has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
