This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter. The assembly uses a stainless steel shaft, a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft, as well as flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP WEG TEFC motor in a 284T NEMA T-frame. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards. The drive system includes a Woods coupler and a standard coupler guard mounted on a welded structural steel base that features an integrated drip pan. This model includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The pump assembly has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
