This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve, and a bronze wear ring. The unit utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. It incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft, along with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and flush seal line taps for maintenance.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure on a 284TS NEMA frame. This motor provides premium efficiency and includes AEGIS shaft grounding for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. The assembly is configured with a welded base featuring an integral drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler for across the line starting. The equipment is rated for 40 °C ambient temperature operation and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.95.
