This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a stainless steel shaft and a bronze shaft sleeve. The casing is manufactured from cast iron and incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The unit is equipped with a mechanical seal comprising a Tungsten Carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and Viton rubber, allowing for operation in clean water temperatures up to 300°F.
The pump is driven by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured in a NEMA 254 T-frame. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is mounted on a welded base that features a drip pan and a Woods coupler. This unit is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a PEI of 0.92.
