This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The assembly utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the pump shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump configuration includes a rear pullout design and flush seal line taps for particle filtration.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor with an included drip cover. It is configured with an 184 JM motor frame with feet and operates on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. Operating parameters include a 40°C ambient temperature rating and counter-clockwise rotation. This pump model has a calculated PEI of 0.93.
