This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction and an 8" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and bronze wear ring. It has a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter. The internal assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal uses a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 150 HP, 460/60/3 Baldor premium efficiency motor in an ODP enclosure. It uses a NEMA 444 T-frame motor with across the line starting. The configuration includes greasable bearings, an AEGIS SGR, and an insulated bearing at the NDE. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features an OSHA-compliant coupler guard and a Woods coupler. This unit meets NEMA premium efficiency standards with a PEI value of 0.94.
