This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It includes a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with a top center line discharge design. The hydraulic assembly uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. It features flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a bronze wear ring. The rear pull-out design allows for servicing without removing system piping.
This pump is configured with a 3 HP Baldor motor in a TEFC enclosure, including a factory-installed drip cover. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 200V, 60 Hz, 3PH power supply. The unit uses an 182 JM motor frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA standards and complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency ratings. The system has a DOE PEI rating of 0.84. The unit uses an across-the-line starting option and is configured for a 40 °C ambient temperature environment with CCW rotation.
