This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge, both equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal features a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operation in clean water at temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections, and the pump includes flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is built on a 254 T-frame and is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across-the-line starting. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, with a PEI value of 0.89. The entire system is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment and operates with CCW rotation.
