This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a rear pullout design and a dry shaft configuration that isolates the pump shaft from the circulating fluid. Pressure tappings are located on both the suction and discharge connections. The unit includes a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly utilizes ANSI Class 125 flanges and does not include a wear ring.
This pump is configured with a 25 HP Baldor motor in a 284JM frame style with feet and an ODP enclosure. The motor operates at 1750 RPM on 230-460V/60/3PH power with an across-the-line starting option. The motor assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The unit has an ambient temperature rating of 40°C and a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.89. The top centerline discharge design facilitates installation and self-venting, while the flush seal line taps allow for the integration of a filter to manage particles in open systems.
