This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It includes a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid from contacting the shaft and utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve to facilitate seal maintenance. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly provides pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and includes flush seal line taps. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping.
The pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. It operates at 3450 RPM with across-the-line starting and utilizes a 184JM motor frame with feet. This unit features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The rotation is counter-clockwise, and the motor is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The system has a PEI rating of 0.83.
