This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It includes a bronze wear ring and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The unit utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing is equipped with pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is powered by a 7-1/2 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame. The motor enclosure is TEFC and is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH operation with across the line starting. The assembly includes a welded base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. The motor is a premium efficiency model that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump maintains a DOE PEI of 0.87.
