This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing, an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The internal design protects the pump shaft from contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing the system piping, while the top centerline discharge simplifies installation.
This pump is configured with a 30 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in a TEFC enclosure. It uses a 286 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical requirements are 230-460/60/3 with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA standards and complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. It operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with standard counter-clockwise rotation. This equipment has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
