This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of an EPT rubber component with a ceramic seat and a carbon rotor, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP TEFC motor in a NEMA 256 frame. It is configured for a 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets EISA compliance standards. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The equipment has a DOE PEI rating of 0.97 and an HI energy rating of 3, designed for 40°C ambient temperatures.
