This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The design includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout configuration allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top centerline discharge design provides self-venting.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and features an across-the-line starting option. The motor utilizes a JM frame style with feet and meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for 40 °C ambient operation and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.9.
