This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design consisting of a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It is configured with a mechanical seal featuring a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing incorporates pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and includes flush seal line taps.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure on a NEMA 286T frame. The electrical system is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a standard Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. The bearing frame uses greasable bearings. This pump meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, includes AEGIS shaft grounding, and has a DOE PEI value of 0.9.
