This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 213T frame. It utilizes an ODP enclosure and is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power with an across the line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, with a PEI value of 0.92. The unit is rated for 40°C ambient operation and utilizes a Woods coupler for the motor connection.
