This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and is constructed with a cast iron casing, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The pump is designed for clean water applications and incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 324 T frame with an ODP enclosure. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant guard. This equipment meets NEMA standards and has a PEI of 0.9. The bearing frame features permanently lubricated, sealed-for-life ball bearings.
