This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge connections conforming to ANSI Class 125 standards. The internal assembly includes a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. This unit uses a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. It is configured with a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The pump casing includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both suction and discharge connections.
The pump uses a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor, NEMA frame 254 T-frame, operating at 1750 RPM on a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler enclosed by a standard coupler guard. The equipment operates in ambient temperatures up to 40°C and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.94. Across the line starting is the standard configuration for this unit.
