This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump includes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both suction and discharge connections, and the pump incorporates flush seal line taps for particle filtration. The rear pullout design allows maintenance without disturbing system piping.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP TEFC motor from WEG. It is configured with a JM frame style with feet, specifically NEMA frame 213. The electrical requirements are 575/60/3 PH, and the unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment. It features CCW rotation and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.87. The motor enclosure is TEFC with no drip cover.
